I scheduled today - Wednesday July 25th- to be a day of relaxation and it was. Even though the kids woke up probably before 9am (they're still on CST), I didn't get out of bed until 11am. It felt good to sleep in.

The kids woke up Shaunette who is sleeping downstairs in the living room at Travis'. Shaunette took some of the pictures of the kids goofing off.

Adrienne cooked a wonderful breakfast and we decided to forego the trip to Fresno and instead Adrienne offered to cook dinner as well. It was delicious and well presented - she's an excellent cook.

Most of the day was spent chillin' inside and out of the 100 degree heat. We watched TV and the kids ran around playing.

As the sun went down the kids finally got to run out to the playground area in the back and they played with some water guns - Jadin got hit the most and was soaking wet - but he seemed to "want" to get wet.

After dinner around 8pm Travis took me and my parents and Shaunette to his work site at the Naval Air Base. As we approached there were multiple fighter jets taking off and landing conducting training missions. The base is in the middle of nothing - a flat valley surrounded by mountains in the far distance - and it's a good thing because the jets are very loud as you can expect. Check out the picture of the hanger where Travis works.

We we returned to Travis' house we were treated to Adrienne's favorite desert spot back in Hanford... Supreme Dairy. Adrienne had been bragging on their ice cream since our arrival and it didn't disappoint. Supreme Dairy is a hometown restaurant that can't be found anywhere else. They have been in business for over seventy years and take pride in making their ice cream from scratch. Adrienne ordered us a "S-O-S" which was a Supreme Oversized Sundae and everyone's eyes popped out due to the large size. Check out the pictures.

We fueled up the vehicles while in Hanford then returned to Travis' around 11pm and prepared for bed. Tomorrow it's off to San Francisco!
