Bikes, Bikes Everywhere

It is Sunday, the second day in Leiden. I have not been sleeping good at all. My apartment is great, it is in a building that looks like a castle. I have 18 foot ceilings in my room. My desk and armor are on the first floor and then I have stairs that go up to my bed which is about 10 feet up. There is no carpeting in the entire building which makes noises carry throughout the hall. I am fortunately and unfortunately next to the bathroom. There is a kitchen that is also just around the corner from my room. There are fifteen other students that will be living on the same floor. I notice everyday that more and more students are moving in.

I feel that I blend in here, it is very similar to Chicago just a different setting. The people are very diverse and friendly, the majority of them are very good at english.
