March 3 Today was Cindy's birthday. The girls went for a trail ride in the morning. We saw lots of wallabies along the way. We ate birthday cake at Tailrace and learned how to play the very popular Australian game of cricket......doesn't quite qualify as exercise! Launceston is famous for a place called the Gorge. The Gorge is an old inactive volcano crater filled with water, it is incredibly deep and apparently is inhabited by huge eels. Nevertheless it is a favourite spot for swimming and the suspension bridge is beautiful. I bet 1/2 of the Launcestonians had wedding pictures taken here.
