Launceston

Tassie has a real small town feel and is none the worse for it. There is a bit of a New Zealand vibe about it. Launceston is the second city and very pretty. We stay on the river and watch the boats come and go. In the evening went to a fantastic natural gorge swimming facility. Hundreds of kids and families enjoying the end of the sun. The heat here was a real surprise. Very hot.
