Louang Phabang and the Plain of Jars, Laos

It is only in recent years that this beautiful country has become known to western travellers. With a population of only 5.25 million it is very peacful and quite in comparison to Vietnam.

I had met many travellers of recent months who had spoken highly of this country, I was therefore very much looking forward to traveling through a least a part of Laos to get a feel for its culture.
