Photo “Nice beaches, full of Malaysian holiday makers and some lovely little souvenirs from thailand (which were free!!)”

We reached Langkawi aout 4pm after our long bus journey and the heavens opened which made it really difficult for us to find somewhere! Malaysian holidaymakers had taken most of the budget accommodation so we had to walk up to the other end of the beach (rain macs and rucksack macs intact!) and luckily we found a lady who knew the owner of a place called Gecko's. Room was 35R which was ok and there was also a selection of cats for me to stroke which I of course, liked.

The next day I woke up and the rash I had received the day before seemed to have got worse. I had little bites all over me and they didn't seem to look like mozzie bites so decided to head to the doctors. He took one look at me and immediately said that I have bed bugs! He even scrubbed his hands after examining me! I felt so diseased!! He prescribed some tablets and cream to treat them and bandaged up my sore on my foot, bloody coral!

The next day we decided to hire a scooter to explore the island. Jamie was a bit nervous at first but he got better, although his corners were a bit iffy and was going ahhh inside but kept quiet!! Plus I don't drive so I was adding extra weight to the back making it harder to turn so partly my fault it was so hard. We went to the harbour which was really nice and then went to the amazing waterfall called the 'seven wells' which is the best waterfall I have seen so far
