“...Irish winter Olympics..” |
Enough of the sight seeing it was off for some more serious stuff. We landed at Lake Ohau just in time for the unofficial Irish winter Olympics.
A small isolated sky resort, with buckets of fresh snow, we worked up a few bruises on the slopes before joining the festivities of the unofficial Irish winter Olympics.
The festivities continued into the night at the Lake Ohau lodge down by the lake Ohau where an Irish band based out of Christchurch kept us up all night parting.
