In the summer it is VERY hot a dry heat 110-128degrees F at day 80 to 100degrees F at night . In the winter it rains and is 65-70degreesin day 30 at night. Wehn it rains clumbs of sand gather on your boots making it heavy to walk but if you sling your boot real hard by kicking it will sling of in a clump. Make sure no one is in your boots slinging range. LOL Since 190 Desert Storm the Army IN MY personal opinion as made a difference in the quality of life for Kuwaite people. They have really built since the war and victory tower is Grand. Internation Hospital. and clinics. The locals or for the most part friendly . (8%) I was Thank-full to be stationed in Kuwait.Had to go to Irag a couple times . I always came back to Kuwait praying for my brothers and sisters in arms stationed there. Lost a few friends, I pray for their familes. and I pray the real world would show the good the soldiers are doing In Irag.on the news instead of all the sensationalism. But as I said this is My personal opinion. I learned a new culture and the locals relgious believes. That was interesting I myself am a Christian. I made friends with empoyees (contractors form India, Napal, Asia, Crotia, pretty much all over the world. I enjoy meeting people. If my finances would permit I would travel the world. In all honesty would have love to got stationed in Italy or Germany. and now I am in Korea third tour. anxciously awaiting leave to Visit China. and Walk the great wall.
