Dan goes into Kununnurra to get a new tyre and some groceries as we all running out of supplies now. We get to go on a trip with Mick who takes us in a truck which looks like a cattle wagon to Wuggubun Gorge. Its a nice hike through forest and more spiky long grass, our legs are ripped to shreds now & so bloody & bruised. After a while we get to a pool with waterfall surrounded by palm trees. I take some pictures of the frogs & wasps around everywhere. While some of the group jump off the waterfall into about 2ft of deep water space between rocks.

On the way back we see a bright green tree frog on a branch which is nice and Mick shows us a Bower Bird nest, the male collects shiny objects like glass & foil to place around the front of his ground nest to attract a female, She comes over to mate then goes back to her nest. Sounds ideal!

Its a long drive now through Kununurra to Purnululu National Park for camp. On the way Dan spots a Frilled Lizard in the road, he jumps out and chases the thing finally catching it half way up a tree, he brings it over for us to see, its a lovely lizard but not at all happy with Dan & tries to attack him lots. We let it go  & carry on our journey finally getting into Purnululu about sunset. We just have time to run up a hill to see it set then head for a campsite.

Unfortunately there's no fires allowed in the park so we have to try & construct the gas stove which looks like something from the war... the first one! Dan got it sort of up and running but the gas is leaking out bad & ignites a big fire ball, I can't help but think a fire would be safer than this contraption!

Eventually he gets one of the burners working and we cook lamb stew for dinner. The lamb is on the bone and melts in the mouth, well worth the wait!

We camp in swags around a candle on a pot for warmth, its freezing !
