A two hour ferry ride took us to Koh Tao where we spent the next 6 days at Koh Tao resort.  The bay at the resort was lovely.  Very calm for swimming and kayaking.  A striking feature of Koh Tao are the huge granite boulders stacked one on top of the other.  We hired a private boat for a one day snorkel trip around the island.  We had great visibility and saw many fish and corals.  Unfortunately we were not able to spot any sharks at shark bay.   We again enjoyed many great meals and went back to Sairee beach where we had stayed last year.  There we met up with our tour guide from last year (Tong).  He had a group of 13 people.  We joined them for dinner at a beach barbeque and watched the fire show after dinner.
