I did not end up getting a train. They were all booked so instead i had no choice but to get a bus from Bangkok to Suratthan Then A ferry Across to Ko Phangan.  It took 12 Hours on the bus.  We watched transformers and then tried unsuccessfully to fall asleep. We arrived in Suratthan at around 6am where we patently waited until 10am to get on the boat. 

The boat ride was packed as. full of tourists urging to get to one of the 3 islands our boat was destined to stop at.  We first stooped at Koh Samuai. Then our stop Koh Phangan. YEWWWW!!

Haha i had been in transit for almost 20 hours. i Was going crazy ! As soon as we got off the boat i hired out a motobike.  I thought this would be the best way to find some accommodation and check out the island.

I went for a cruse and found a wicked little  bungalow right on the golden sand beach. I was stoked!! So good to get in the salt water after 2 weeks !! I just relaxed most of the rest of the day.

FEB 17th

YEW its my birthday. haha i dont really care it just means i'm a year older. but yeah I work up and went for a cruse around the island on my superbike. I stooped at this little hut on the side of the road and got this amazing mango and banana shake. i was addicted imeadly ! 

Koh Phangan is an amazing island.  Such a beautiful, surreal landscape ! It is mainly a tourist party destination. There are partys advertised everywhere. Pool partys, Jungle raves, Full moon, half moon, quarter moon, dark moon, etc. haha any excuse to party ! but yeah i8m sure im going to have a great time here.

But yeah i'm about to head down to the pensuila of the island to have a few drinks with some of the lads i met yesterday.  Tyrone and another couple of lads get here on the 20th.  I'm getting pritty pumped for that !  time to go loose some brain cells!!
