Although it says Ko chang we went to Ko samet which is an island near. Checked into Ao Phai huts which is jungle huts on stilts and slept all afternoon. The rooms are very basic with me and luke having to share a double bed on the floor and the toilets are..... not nice put it that way. But the location more than makes up for it with trees all around and chickens and lots of other animals walking about. We decided no sang sum as it was starting to mess our heads up. We think its the red bull because of the amphetimenes its like a come down. We wondered down the beach and ended up having a drink in a Bob Marley raggae bar sitting on deck chairs on the beach. We purchased some smoke and headed back to the huts to catch up on our sleep. We had a smoke on the balcony of the hut listening to the very strange noises unknown creatures were making and watched two ghekkos Walking around the roof. We called these rocky 2 and rocky 3 (original) and then rocky 2 bit rocky 3 on the tail and it fell off (Wasn't sure if we had smoked to much, lol). We went in to find we had 2 new pets, colin and cyril the cockroaches so planned on leaving in the morning.
Checked out and had breakfast on the beach and moved to seabreeze apartments. Much cleaner. We decided to hire a motorbike and check out he island. Hiring a bike here is not for the faint hearted the roads (if you can call them that) are awful with pot holes, hills and drops everywhere. As we got a bike the monsoon kicked in and we got soaked. We looked like a right pair riding around in a massive storm with shorts, t-shirt and sunglasses on but it was so funny. Luke mearly lost me off the back a few times but we both survived to tell the tail. That night we stayed in a small bar that had a dancefloor and played really good tunes., but unfortunatly sold very cheap sang sum buckets. . Usual story, drank far to much, danced very well (well in our opinion) but chatted to a lot of very cool people. On the way back luke took a wrong turn and fell down a hole which we both found hilarious.
Next day woke up at 5 it was still raining so booked a ticket and planned a very long journey the next day.
