Jill and Neil, both retired school teachers and principals, administrate a school in Kigali called Greenhills Academy (www.greenhillsacademy.rw).

Since arriving here in 1999, they have built the school up from 50 students to a total student body of approximately 1300, ranging from nursery to high school.  Most students are local Rwandese, but there are handfuls of international students whose parents are diplomats or NGO employees in Kigali.  We visited the school on a frequent basis and partook in several school meals; the entire student and teacher population at Greenhills receives a daily morning snack and later a nutritious cooked lunch!
