Marriage Proposal from a 75 year old man

I interviewed this old man who is the father of one of the field assistants. When we arrived, he tells Erimosi, “Oh! I see that you have brought me a new wife!”  Erimosi explained to him that I was already taken (that psuedomarriage thing I have going on). He is still insistent, explaining that he is building this new house for me. Then he informs his wife that he is taking a new wife and I was it. She laughed and I must have been 3 shades of read. Then I decided to show him a picture of Scott and me from Pam’s wedding. He takes a look and goes, “Oh no. I can’t win! He is too strong!” and then his wife says that Scott is really handsome.

I talked to Scott later and told him the story and he was like, “That’s right!” =)

Luckily for me, they believe me when I say that I’m married. My colleague, Kate, doesn’t have such luck. She say she is too young to be married and so she gets quite a bit of advances.
