I had my birthday while visiting my 90 year-old mother in Kelowna, British Columbia. My husband Mi Ki invited me for lunch at Shannon Lake Golf Club Restaurant at West Bank, which is just about 15 minutes across the bridge from Kelowna. It was a beautiful and peaceful experience! What a treat!

Value: The lunch menu is around C$9 per person including either soup, salad or fries. I ordered hot club sandwich with soup and add a dollar for salad and add $1.40 for lemon tea. The total bill for both of us was $21.00 It is great value in such a beautiful environmnet. see picture.

Service: I am very picky. I would like my soup and tea very hot. I do not like French fries and made changes. Both the waiter and waitress served us with a smile.

Ambience: The restaurant is clean and spacious including a long balcony that we could sit outside with nature. I spoke with the owner Betty McAvoy whom I met for the first time. She was friendly and she told me they welcome business and wedding parties as well.

Food: It was above average and I did not expect it to be so good for that price!! I love their club sandwitch. The salad, a spring mix which I had, was fresh. The soup, West Coast Stew, was fantastic.

Location: Unbeatable! I could stay there for hours taking pictures of Nature.
