Stayed at the Knott's Crossing resort which was nice, heaps of room. Caught up with washing and a bit of work. Went shopping at Woolworths, hadn't seen a Woolys since Mt Isa.
Went for a drive to Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National park. Found out that we can put the zodiac in the gorge in September so we will be back then because the tours up the gorge are expensive and are pretty crowded. Walked up to the top of the look out which was quite a way up and quite steep. Nice views.
Kids went for a swim in the hot springs which was nice but not as nice as the Bitter springs at Mataranka.
Went for the night tour to see the crocodiles and had a bbq dinner. The freshwater crocodiles were everywhere along the banks as we slowly went down stream to where tables were set up in the middle of the bush, as the dinner was being cooked, two crocodiles came up onto the banks and the tour guides feed them. A camp fire was lit and we stood around that for a while. When we were leaving, turtles swam around the boat waiting to be feed. Bit cold on the way back but a great tour.
