Review of Prestige Apartments

Stayed here for almost 15 days on holiday while on business with fellow colleagues. I didn't know there were Kampala apartments like these! The accommodation was very well furnished, the furniture was great (the sofa was real comfy!), american-style kitchens, and the lounge was jus fantastic.

Did visit a couple of other places around, but was looking for a good quiet location, and these were right in the centre of Kampala one block away from the Danish Embassy.

I would recommend anybody who is looking for accommodation in Kampala to visit these apartments, as I booked one the same day I had a viewing. And their rates were very good compared to the competition. Hotels in Kampala had going rates for over $150 a night and all you get is a room!

Breakfast is not included, but there were plenty of restaurants, two of which were opposite, and a couple more a few mins walking distance.

They did have on-site wi-fi which I and my colleagues found very useful so that was a plus point. Rooms were air-conditioned also, something that I appreciated after walking miles and sniffing dust and traffic fumes under the hot sun in Kampala.

They do have a swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym, and I think they did mention they were in the process of installing a sauna and steam-bath .. fingers crossed, December-come, i will be will be stayin in the equivalent of a spa!
