Day One: Maui - Kahului - Hawaii

Not much to say... after traveling  20 hours to get to Maui and with the time change, I basically got settled in the hotel and fell asleep at 8pm (2AM east coast time).  I did get a nice look around from the airport to the Hotel and it was soothing to see beautiful flowers and Palm (coconut?) trees.  Not to mention the vivid green mountains (old volcanos).  I just didn't think much of the landscape besides beach, beach, beach... I was so pleasantly awakened to all that Hawaii has to offer.
