The beaches of Jupiter and Juno Beach are safe, have very clean sand (no tar or litter), a copious amount of shells, and are peacefully unpopulated compared to the beaches of nearby West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale.
Juno Beach Pier (shown in the photo) has a snack stand and is the favorite spot of local fishermen. It's a great little walk to see the water and see the many pelicans that hang out there. They charge a dollar per person to walk down it, but they sell passes and if you're there for a while it might be worth it to you. The beachfront surrounding the pier is the most crowded in the area, so if you want some more privacy while you sunbathe, just head a ways down the road.
These beaches also have great bike paths where locals rollerblade, walk, cycle, and run, and there's plenty of doggy-bag dispensers to encourage dog walkers to clean up after their pups. In general, Jupiter and Juno Beach residents take a lot of pride in their towns and take care of them as well.

Yes Jupiter still has the beautiful uncluttered beaches that attracted us many years ago. Pristine area but great for exercise buffs too. Wide sidewalks and bike lanes that stretch for miles make it a lovely way to stay fit. Thanks for noticing.
