I was able to explore the wonders and pristine lands of Juneau during a hike through the mountains of Juneau. The Princess Diamond Cruise brought me to this unsaturated place, where animals could roam freely in the forest and the biggest employment in this capital of Alaska is government. The town mostly depends on the cruise tourists in the summer, but this town has a quaint and beauty we cannot find in our big cities of the mainland. The 5 hour hike in the mountains was a great experience. Even thought I had to trek up and up and up, we trekked into the clouds. I loved the experience and took in the freshest air I have ever had. Seeing all that green and fresh water was amazing. I never knew Alasaka had so much to offer. I wanted to drink the water, but the guide said it was not recommended. Even though I could see through the water, something I am unable to do when I look down at the Los Angeles river, the guide said there may be a dead animal up the river and infect the water. Some people have died on this trail, but falling off the side, I was able to look down on the side and saw the deep deep dept of the mountain. Nature is actually quite beautiful and fantastic. The hike was wonderful, desperatedly needed. I ate A LOT while on the cruise. Since it was fine dining and all you can eat, I ate ate ate. I think I gained 10 pounds just from all the eating. Stopping in Juneau, Alaska was a fantastic place and quite beautiful. I recommend it to all!
