Just a few beers!!!

The next day after giving a lot of taught if it was worth it to lose the flight to Jakarta and stay one more day in Sanur we decided to continue with our program and get to know the capital of Indonesia.

We catch up with Pedro and Alvaro in Jakarta and stayed in the hotel Jajakarta, near an area that we called “the city of the mod”, yes that’s how dirty it was.

There was not much really to see around Jakarta so we went to the Manga Dua plaza where we bought the cheapest electronics in Asia but nothing as advance as Japan. Afterwards we head to the tourist area of Jalan Jaksa where were supposed to be all the clubs and restaurants but it was just a small street with very tiny bars, so we had a few beers there and then head to the Shangri-La Hotel which was supposed to be the place to be in Jakarta. And yeah it was very fancy BUT, all the girls in the club were locals and they were alone!!! Therefore all the tourists in there were males over 40’s. Alvaro drank to much that night and send us to bed after his rescue operation…
