I´ve always loved the idea of visiting Italy. There is such a rich history, and some truely beautiful places - but more than anything else, the Italians have such passion for life. I decided to dedicate a good chunk of my trip to Italy - at least 10 days - but this soon turned into over 2 weeks when I realised how smitten I was with this place.
I started with the ancient ruins of Rome, before heading further south to Napoli. Florence was next on the list and I took a detour to the incredible Cinque Terre region before finishing up in Venice.
Despite my extended stay here, I can´t wait to come back and discover more of what this beautiful country has to offer - read on to find out why!
