Trim Castle, is located in Trim, Ireland. It is most famously known for its appearance in Braveheart with Mel Gibson. To help cut the costs of traveling, the movie set changed one section of the castle and claimed it in the movie as being "London". In actuality, it all was filmed in Trim. The weather was great and we toured around the 12th century building for day. So much history has taken place in Trim, I would highly suggest visiting this town!

Saturday evening we took the suggestion of a friend of mine (thank you Mike!) to do a pub crawl. This is an arranged event with two musicians who play instruments and sing in a traditional Irish manor. During the coarse of 2 1/2 hours they take us around Dublin visiting four different pubs where we listen to them tell stories and make music. What a great experience and a great idea to end our travels with this!
