Review of Shapla Tandoori, Castle Road, Inverness

When my family from Bangladesh visited Scotland a couple of months back, we had the misfortune of eating at this place - though the place said 'Indian restaurant', we could guess by the name that it was Bangladeshi, so we were all enthusuiastic about eating some homely food there. And that choice made us yearn for a McDonald's or Burger King - we should've stuck to one of the fast food places instead of this horror of a restuarant. The food can only be described as a cardiologist's nightmare - a sure way of clogging the heart with all that oil - guarateed to give you heart trouble for life. And the different types of food we ordered all looked the same - and needless to say we were hungry rather than thirsty for oil - so we satisfied our hunger with bits of fresh vegetables provided on the side & later had a quick lunch at Subway. So much for homely food! What a disappointment!
