By far Incheon is my favorite airport to be at. I've been there in the dead of winter, and in the middle of the hottest part of summer, and every time it's proven as clean and comfortable an environment as you can find, for an airport. And every time I've been here it's not only served as a welcome break between tiring flights, but a nice peek into the life and current events of South Korea.
Incheon International airport is like a giant, clean, mall. Almost anything that you'd want to buy in Korea, you'd be able to find it here. I've gotten keychains, Korean pens, digital video tape (forgot to pack before leaving on one particular trip to the Philippines), a 2002 World Cup shirt, and a small vase of Hanju (korean wine), and other numerous things I can't quite recall.
I've also shopped for music at the Incheon airport, but unfortunately wasn't able to find anything to my liking that I didn't already have. Funny, three years ago I would've had no idea or inclination on this... now I'm mainly into BoA's music, but somewhat knowledgeble on other artists as well.
The food selection at the airport is also the best I've seen anywhere. Of course, the korean food is great, but there are a number of western-style restaurants as well. I've had both hot and cold udong here... even in the heat of summer I'd recommend it hot.
If you need to shoot a quick e-mail while you're here... computer with you or not, you can get it done here. Just make sure you can read the characters you're typing! I had issues with the computer typing in Korean characters, but a simple key on the keyboard remedied that funny, unique-to-Korea malady.
Unfortunately, I have yet to really see the city of Incheon itself other than seeing it while riding to and from Seoul. One thing I'd like to see in the city of Incheon sometime is the Gen MacArthur monument.
