Well, the original plan was to go to Iguazu Falls on the way to Brazils beaches. But, it turned out that the consulate was unable to extend my visa for Brazil and a new one would cost 115us dollars. Since, this wa about the amount that I was planning to spend in my time there and I had already spent 85us dollars on a previous Brazil visa, I decided not to go back to Brazil. Another time...

I did head to Iguazu Falls, and it was well worth the trip. Round-trip BA-IF-BA, all took about 63hrs! But, the falls were fantastic. I have to say that they are better than Victoria Falls. Another traveller told me that they are better than Niagra Falls, though I haven`t been there to decide for myself, yet.

What made them so great was that they are many falls in one area. Separated by islands and trees, set back or ahead of eachother, the scenery changed with every turn.

Though, there is little to remark about the town. Just another po-dunk town in South America. So, I spent a day at the falls and left that afternoon. Ufortunately, I got caught in a rainstorm on the way to the bus terminal, I was absolutely drenched from head to toe!

But, I was riding `coche-cama` for only an extra five pesos more than `semi-cama`. The difference is amazing. While semi-cama is nice, coche-cama is like another world. It is like being in first class on an airplane. Enormous seats made of leather which recline to almost flat, a hot meal, and champagne for a night-cap! I was riding in style back to BA!
