Nestled on popular Knutsford Terrace in TST Bahama Mama's offers a great location for a quite Friday night beer or seventeen.  In contrast to it's pretentious and overpriced competition it offers a relaxed environment in which to unwind.  During the extended 'happy hour' drinks are a bargain - we were able to buy tasty $28 strawberry dacaries right up until nine.  The food on offer is a mix of Mexican themed snacks and typical pup grub.  The fish and chips I indulged in were marvelous.  The breadcrumbed fish fillets were plump and juicy, while the crisscross fries were fresh and crisp - a absolutely delight accompanying a cold glass of Stella.  Naomi's nachos on the other hand were a disappointment - burnt cornchips, a scabby toppings and a total lack of cheese.  Bahama Mama's is a fantastic place for a Friday night beer, especially if you get in early and grab an outside table, just avoid the nachos.
