Review of Renaissance Harbour View Hotel

This is an ideal location for home base for a stay in Hong Kong. The hotel is located next to the Convention Center (& the Golden Bauhinia) and is about four minutes walk to the Wan Chai piers (especially great for catching the Star Ferry to Kowloon).

The service is great.. we got a lot of help from the concierge!!!

Breakfast buffet is very acceptable.... lots of choice including an omlette station.... and a nice view of the harbour (but only for a while as there is constuction on an add-on on the Convention Center next door that will take the view from the restaurant). Though there is construction, it did not cause a disturbance, at least where we were located in room# 1604. We had a great view of the lovely gardens and the pool and waterfall that are located on the roof (11th floor). If you stay here, don't wait until the last day like I did and go down and enjoy some relaxation by the pool or have lunch while you're there.....

The room was more than adequate... about average size (we had run of the house room). The bed was a bit on the hard side but did not cause any problem getting to sleep.

We would certainly return to this hotel if we ever return to Hong Kong and I would recommend it to any of my friends.
