We are only 4 days into our stay in Hawaii, but we can safely establish it is hotter that UK right now! :-)
Aside from that, we have a nice hotel with pool area again with a balcony view on the 19th floor (of 48!!) They have just had a really busy weekend here, as they have had the "Pro Bowl", which is an invitational of the (apparently) best of the best from the American Football leagues. It was a good game with a tight finish, but it was a slight improvement on the Superbowl the week before in that it did not make a 60 minute game last 4 hours due to adverts!!!
The beaches are nice enough, if not a little crowded - though we did manage to spot Borat through the crowds! A little Arabic man with a thick black moustache in his 40s/50s with his wife/mother (!?) wearing really pulled up y-fronts! We found this hysterical, but could not get a picture as he moved and went in for a swim.
We will be visiting Pearl Harbour and Diamond Head mountain over the next few days, so will report back on those when we can. Until then, we will be mainly chilling out and tanning by the pool! Wish we had some snow, though, its far too hot here ;-)
