Mixed feelings about this place. the guy who runs it is a bit of a businessmen so not really that likable. however, you can barter with him for anything except the halong bay cruise which wasnt the best from here by the way. anyway i got my admittedly nice room for 4 dollars with a decent bathroom and nice sitting table. the sheets were kinda clean. the restaurant downstairs is nice and popular with many tourists coming through. you can leave your pack here and come back for it after the halong bay cruise. he can also get you to where you need to go to get the airport shuttle on the back of his own bike. beware of the curfew, they close the door and then the shutter and i had no idea how to get in. you have to bang on the metal and luckily someone was sleeping downstairs and let me in.
