Thursday, January 18, 2007 (Hanmer Springs)
- visited the local seal colony out on the Peninsula in Kaikoura. Almost stepped on a seal, most pay more attention to were I am walking! After our seal adventure we headed into town (Kaikoura),to replenish our food / Corona supplies, visit the local internet café & hair cuts for myself & the boys. Destination: Hanmer Springs. Arrived approx. 6:30pm checked into the Top Ten Holiday RV Park. We will most likely spend a few days doing the hot pools, jet river boat thrill seeking tours & relaxing. Another hair raising experience driving the caravan thru the skinny mountain roads on the WRONG side of the road!

- curriculum day in the AM. Hanmer Therapeutic Pools in the afternoon.
Saturday, January 20, 2007 (Hanmer Springs)
- hit the books in the am, work on the blog, walk into Hanmer with the boys. Rented MTB and hit the trails for an hour. Cooked our first meal on the NZ bar-b-que (more like a grill). Turned out quite nicely, everyone commented on how good the meal was?!
