Day 3

ok so its xmas day and we didnt really even realise until we were on a chairlift around 11am. Not being a big celebration in Japan makes this the perfect place for a holiday at this time of year. The weather today was fab - clear skys - had a great time till midday when Geoff noticed that a strap on his binding was about to break so we headed down. While looking for a place to get it fixed we found the mexican rest. that curly had mentioned. Ended up walking back to the lodge as there were no buses or cabs. Yoshgi took us to another shop where Geoff was able to get a replacement for a whole $3. By then it was about 3.30 and we headed back to the hotel for some R&R. Yoshgi came around about 7ish and told me that he was going to pickup dyl and mel and asked if i wanted to come which i did of course. We then had a look around the shops for gloves and googles for dyl. Then afterwards headed to the Cherry Pub for a beer and some food. The pub had dreadful xmas carrols playing but also an awesome snowboard vid. As everyone was pretty tired we called it an early night. So still no party action in Hakuba but hopefully tomoz night...
