Honolulu - Waikiki Beachside Hostel is located less than a block away from world famous Waikiki Beach and is the most popular hostel in Hawaii. Our location is only steps away from shops, restaurants, bars, nightlife and major tourist attractions. We offer excellent service, facilities and most importantly, a unique and fun atmosphere for exploring Hawaii while meeting new friends from around the world. We have an outdoor lounge and entertainment area with 61' screen TV, disco lights and BBQ area with dining that can seat over 50 people. Additionally, we have 10 high-speed internet-access computers. Our hostel offers budget tours and we rent surfboards, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, mopeds and much more! There are Free Beach mats, body boards, rafts and snorkel masks to borrow, as well as free hairdryers, iron and ironing board, books, cards and games. Each room has its own telephone with free local calls, bathrooms, air-conditioning, cable television, kitchens with electric range/oven sink and full size refrigerators Lanai/Balcony, electronic safes only ($2 per day), electronic door locks for added security, and daily housekeeping. Guests receive free daily continental breakfast (coffee, tea, toast). The front desk is open 24- hours for late arrivals, and early check-outs. There is a convenience store next door. We have Facsimile, scanning, copying services available to guests. Guests can use the laundry facilities, $1.50 for wash, .25 cents for dry (8 minutes time). Parking is available ($5 dollars all day). We provide fresh bed linen (two sheets and pillowcase). Lockers are available for rent ($3 per use). We also have message services (Retrieve messages from friends and family from the front desk). At the Waikiki Beachside Hostel, we go above and beyond what any other Hawaii hostels offer our level of service is unparalleled. We are confident that your stay here at the Waikiki Beachside Hostel will be the best stay you have at any of the backpacker hostels in Hawaii or the world.Sleep inside, play outside, stay Beachside* NOTE: You will be charged the total for your first nights stay at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. If the card is declined we will not make a reservation You must provide 48 hours notice to cancel for a refund. We require out of state ID and airline ticket showing travel leaving the island of Oahu to check in. Guests without a ticket will receive a full refund of their deposit and the reservation will be cancelled.*Please note, you must be over 18 years of age to stay at this hostel. All room charges are subject to Hawaii state tax in the amount of 11.41% You will be charged the total for your first nights stay at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. You must provide 48 hours notice to cancel for a refund.

Directions

Directions from Airport:Bus: Take #19 or #20 to Waikiki. Exit at Paoakalani stop. Then walk two blocks toward the beach and left on Lemon Road. Bus Fare is $2.00. Estimate time is 1- 1 � hour(s). Car: Take H-1 East to Waikiki. Exit at King St. (25A). and continue straight. At 2nd traffic light, turn right onto Kapahulu Blvd. (after Foodland). Drive one mile South towards the beach. Turn right on Lemon Road. Estimate time is 25 minutes. Parking at Waikiki Beachside Hostel is $5 dollars per day. Shuttle: Go to the baggage claim area. There you will find an array of transportation shuttle service companies that will be able to take you straight to our doorstep. Prices range about $8-$9 dollars per person depending on time of day. Estimate time varies from 35-60 minutes. A few we recommend for our guests are:Reliable Shuttle: 1 (808) 924-9292 (for daytime flights)Roberts Hawaii Shuttle: 1 (808) 831-1555 (24-hr service)VIP Trans: 1 (808) 836-0317 (for midnight flights)Taxi: Go to the baggage claim area. Outside you will find Taxi�s for about $25-$30 dollars to get to the Hokondo Waikiki Beachside Destination. Estimate time is 25 minutes. Only take a Taxi if there are a bunch of you and the shuttles are not available.
