If you want to stay in a 3 Star Non Smoking Superior Sea front hotel paying prices charged by ordinary establishments, check in at the Chequers Plaza Hotel.Chequers is situated in the refined part of Blackpool on the Queens Promenade. An oasis of tranquility after the breathtaking bustle of the city.away from the crowds and yet so close to all major attractions. Well over half a million pounds has been spent on refurbishment recently. All rooms and public areas have been refurbished. We have an air conditioned restaurant which is a self service buffet style which proves popular with our guests. We have free leisure facilities at The Hilton Hotel and we offer a subsidised taxis service. We have an external lift for disabled guests to enter the hotel and disabled public toilets on the ground floor. A credit card is required as a guarantee. If the booking is not cancelled outside of the cancellation notice period, your credit card will be charged with the full amount of the booking. From 2006 the hotel will be totally no smoking.

Directions

From Blackpool Airport (BLK): Distance to the Langwood Hotel is 7.5 miles, approximately 20 minutes' drive. Getting there. The easiest way to reach the hotel from the airport is by hire car or taxi, costing approximately 10 GBP. Buses also run from the airport to Blackpool North station, which is 3.5 miles fro the hotel. From there, trams run to Bispham and a single fare is 1.50 GBP. Getting around. Blackpool is served by a comprehensive tram network. Single fares are 1.50 GBP. The Promenade and city centre can be explored on foot. Driving directions. From the north, leave the M6 at junction 32 to join M55 (signposted Blackpool, Preston A6). Keep in the right hand lane and continue forward onto the M55 (signposted Blackpool, Fleetwood). After approximately 12 miles, continue to the A5230. Once in Blackpool look for signs for North shore Promenade. Continue travelling three miles north on the Promenade to reach the hotel.
