Situated at an exceptional location, next to Syntagma Square, opposite to the National Garden and the House of Parliament, and at a short distance from Acropolis, makes the access to the historical center and Plaka a short and pleasant walk. It is easy to access our hotel or any spot of Athens since the main stations for the metro, the tram, the buses and the express bus to / from the Eleftherios Venizelos airport are around the corner at Syntagma Square. The hotel has a total of 97 rooms of different types and 1 suite. All rooms and the suite are contemporary decorated with elegant furniture and pleasant colour combinations. They are equipped with individually controlled A/C, comfortable mattresses, mini bar, safety boxes, satellite TV, pay TV, high-speed internet access, marble baths or shower, hair dryer, amenities, shaving mirror and bath robes.

Directions

From Athens Airport (ATH): Distance to the Amalia Hotel Athens is 35 kilometres, approximately 50 minutes' drive. Getting there. The suburban rail line connects the airport to Athens' central station, Larissis Station. Single tickets cost 8 EUR. Additionally, Metro line 3 runs between the city centre and the airport. The nearest metro station to the hotel is Syntagma Square, which is 150 metres away. Six public bus routes cover Athens and Piraeus, as well as running to Athens Rafina Port. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals, Door 4, and cost about 25 EUR to the city centre and 30 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Public transport throughout Athens is inexpensive and convenient. Services include buses, trams, trolley buses, and a metro service. Tickets should be validated at the orange machines on board or in metro stations. Taxis are also available and are reasonably priced. Visitors are advised not to drive in the city.
