Location. The Hotel Maestoso is located on the Lipica Stud Farm, outside of Sezana, Slovenia. The Vilenica Cave is two kilometres away and Sezana's bus and train station is five kilometres from the hotel. The city of Trieste is 10 kilometres away. Hotel Features. Set in the Karst region in the shade of fragrant lime and oak trees, the Hotel Maestoso derives its name from the famous stallion bred at Lipica Stud Farm. Guests have complimentary access to the hotel's Finnish sauna and indoor pool. Limited hours room service is available. Public areas offer wireless Internet access. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site. A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided each morning. The snack bar and restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offers a menu of traditional dishes from the Karst region. The Hotel Maestoso is set within the green fields of the nine hole Lipica Golf Course. Horse riding courses are available at the Stud Farm stables. From Trieste Airport (TRS): Distance to Hotel Maestoso is 17 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive. Getting there. The number 55 bus runs to Trieste city centre and single tickets cost 2.55 EUR. From Trieste, buses depart for Sezana. The hotel can organise airport transfers for a surcharge. Taxis are available between 8 a.m. and midnight, and cost about 60 EUR to Hotel Maestoso. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Buses operate throughout Sezana. The bus station in Sezana is a main hub for connections to cities throughout Slovenia and Italy.
