More information on Amangalla Resort
Colombo*s Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is the sole international airport in Sri Lanka and is located about 30km north of the city. Travel time between the airport and the city centre varies between 45 and 60 minutes. Most international flights arrive in the late evening or early morning and guests have the option of taking a vehicle direct to Amangalla, or, staying overnight in Colombo. The advantage of transferring direct to Amangalla on arrival is the roads are quieter late at night and the drive will generally take two and a half hours compared to four hours during the day. For arrivals at Amangalla after midnight, we will pre-register your reservation for the night before to ensure that your room is ready for immediate check-in.

RestaurantThe Great Hall, with indoor seating as well as seating on the veranda, serves light meals and snacks in the morning, as well as afternoon tea. The Dining Hall serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on local and home cooked meals.
