Behind the facade of an old church, you'll find the clean contemporary lines of modernity of the Glasshouse Edinburgh's hip boutique luxury hotel. An oasis from the City, the hotel boasts the only rooftop garden in Edinburgh offering unparalleled views, a perfect place for an aperitif. Award winning bedrooms await the crispest Egyptian cotton linen to sink into. Superbly located in the heart of Edinburgh, the hotel is 5 minutes from Princes Street, North Bridge and Harvey Nichols. Edinburgh Waverley mainline station is only 5 minutes by taxi, and Edinburgh International Airport is 10 km away, about a 20 - minute drive. The Glasshouse offers business center, concierge, conference facilities, handicap rooms, high-speed Internet access 5.95 per hour, room service and wireless Internet. It is a smoke free hotel. Transport Initiative Edinburgh has temporarily suspended the parking bay in front of the hotel which allows you to easily park up in a taxi. This is a direct result of the road works being undertaken by the Edinburgh Council to install a Tram network. The suspension of the parking bay will last for nine weeks from the 04th of April 2009.
