The Youth Hostel Guido Ricci in Siena is not part of the Hostelling International association of Hostels in Italy.The hostel 'Guidoriccio' is a new, comfortable building located just 3 km from the centre of Siena, it provides plenty of small (family) rooms with 2 or 3 beds as well as one dormitory with 8 beds. It has a wide television hall with tables and chairs, an elevator and provides breakfasts.It's the perfect choice for visiting Siena and its beautiful surrounding towns such as San Gimignano, Pienza, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni.
Directions
From the train station you may catch bus n. 77 or 4, then ask the busdriver to let you off at the 'ostello'. You also may catch a taxi from the train station, which is relatively inexpensive (5-6 Euros) due to the short distance (2 km). If coming from Florence, you may prompt the busdriver to let you off as soon as you enter Siena, as the hostel is located in the northern outskirts
