The Harlem YMCA is a tax exempt, non profit organisation. The Harlem YMCA is located in the heart of the Harlem community. It is surrounded by numerous landmarks such as, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Sylvia's Soul Food Restaurant, the world famous Apollo Theatre, Malcolm Shabazz Market and is also close to the famed 125th Street shopping district.
