As the property is one of the closest hotels on the island to the airport, this in an ideal choice for those wishing to avoid travelling for an hour or so to reach their accommodation. Although located near the airport, flights are limited to approximately 12 per day, so are only minimally disruptive. The hotel also features a new health club, sauna and massage facilities. With the marine park located just off the resort, it is also a good choice for divers or snorkelers. (TO/0708) The hotel comprises of low-rise buildings topped with thatched roofs, situated around a pool, facing the beach. The pool area is in the centre of the property and looks over the garden area and white sandy beach. Located on the south-east coast of Mauritius, approximately ten minutes from the airport, in the area of Blue Bay. This bay is home to Coral Garden, a protected marine park and coral reef, ideal for snorkelers and divers. The capital, Port Louis, is approximately 45 minutes away.

The best way to reach the hotel from the airport is by taxi outside the arrivals lounge. Alternatively, the hotel offers a transfer service (surcharge). Bicycles can be hired locally, there is a taxi rank at the hotel or a hire car would be useful to explore the island. Driving directions from the airport: On reaching the third roundabout drive to Mahebourg, then three kilometers after the roundabout turn right into Blue Bay where the resort is located.
