India House is located near the corner of 3200 Canal St. and South Lopez St. in the Mid-City area of New Orleans. Streetcarsrun along Canal St. to the French Quarter all day and night.From Amtrak/Greyhound: Exit Loyola Ave. door, walk left to Canal St. Take Canal St. streetcar (heading away from downtown). Get off at S. Lopez St. Cross street and walk towards the church. India House is #124 S. Lopez.Or take a taxi for about $8.00From Airport: Take the Airport Shuttle; door-to-door service is $15.By Car: South Lopez is a one-way street and you can�t access it from Canal St. The hostel is located on the first block, so just goaround the block.Traveling West on I-10: Exit at Canal St./Super dome, go to traffic lights and turn left on Canal St. Drive up Canal, until 3200 block (corner of S. Lopez on the left).Traveling East on I-10: Exit at Metairie Rd/City Park Ave., go to traffic lights and turn left. At next traffic light turn right on Canal St. drive Down Canal until you reach the 3200 block (corner of S. Lopez on the right).
