More information on Hilton Lake Placid Resort

Located right in the village, this resort sprawls across two streets in three different buildings, one of which is right on the water. Offering loads of amenities, from four(!) pools to complimentary boats for use on the lake, you'll never be lacking for activity on the hotel grounds. And since about half the guests are here with a group, the place constantly buzzes. Rooms are uniformly outfitted in what the hotel calls Modern Adirondack style, one that bears a striking resemblance to standard Hilton style. That's okay, though, since they provide lots of space and are comfortable. My suggestion: Upgrade to the Lakeview Building, where guest rooms have balconies or patios. And for superhuge rooms that look straight down on the water, grab a room in the Waterfront Building. Just be aware that these rooms can book up a year in advance. Facilities: Restaurant; lounge; 4 pools (2 indoor, 2 heated outdoor); small exercise room; Jacuzzi; complimentary canoe and kayak use; children's programs; game room; concierge; tour desk; salon; limited room service; babysitting; laundry service; same-day dry cleaning Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.
