The oceanfront Cheeca Lodge is a smoke-free resort located on 27 acres of Upper Matecumbe Key, two miles from the Theater of the Sea (marine mammal park), and approximately 78 miles south of Miami International Airport and 80 miles from Key West.

The property's amenities include the palm-lined beach, 525-foot wooden pier, heated swimming pool, saltwater lagoon with native fish, complete watersports facilities, award-winning Camp Cheeca for kids, six lighted tennis courts, and a par-3 golf course.

The award-winning Atlantic's Edge Restaurant serves elegant dinners with views of the ocean. The Spa at Cheeca Lodge offers an array of indoor and outdoor garden spa treatments for singles and couples, as well as facials, massages, aromatherapy, hot-rock massages, salt scrubs, and body treatments. A fitness room, steam rooms, adult-only swimming pool and cabanas, selection of exercise classes, and spa boutique complete the amenities.

All rooms feature plasma screen televisions, DVDs, CD players, ceiling fans, complimentary bottled water, turndown service, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, designer toiletries, and bathrobes. Some rooms feature screened patios with chairs and tables.
