Hi there! Book an apartment at the Castle of Selvole! Save money and be assured of a cheap apartment in one of the most beautiful places in Tuscany!Selvole property is 12 Kms from Siena centre.The apartments of Selvole are about 200 metres from the magnificent winery and cellar , where the reception, wine shop and wine cellar are situated. The 'tourist village' consists of 3 old big farmhouses that have been converted into 21 self-catering apartments for singles, couples or families with children ( no shops, just relax!). SO PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN YOU BOOK A ROOM, YOU'RE BOOKING A FURNISHED APARTMENT!!!We don't give any breakfast because guests have their own kitchen in their own apartments. Bed linens and towels are provided and are changed regularly for stays longer than one week. Guests can relax by the village big swimming pool which is located at the centre of the complex, or sit outside in the garden and enjoy the natural peace of the surrounding. Guided wine tours and wine testings will be scheduled for free on demand.Chianti Classico area and have the possibility to drive around . We can provide a limitedtransfer service with a small car (therefore a maximum of four persons with not too much luggage) . We cannot guarantee the service, however, unless you contact us AT LEAST two days before, and the transfer will be free of charge only for arrivals and departures to or from the Siena railway station (one pick up in the morning after 9 am and one in the afternoon between 4 and 5 pm. Every other transfer has to be booked also in advance and will be at a small charge.
Directions
You can reach Selvole by car leaving the Florence-Siena motorway at Siena Nord. From the north enter this road at Firenze Certosa (motorway A1), from south at Bettolle and then near Siena take the orbital road until Siena nord. From Siena Nord, turn left, take the SS222 in the direction of Castellina in Chianti, after the second roundabout, go straight and take the second road on the right where there is a sign for Vagliagli. After 8 kms, before arriving in Vagliagli, take the white dirt road in the direction Pianella, Pievasciata and the Sculpture Park. Keep going straight , after two and a half kms you will see the sign 'Selvole' on the left. Enter the property, go past the tennis courts till you arrive in front of an iron gate and a villa. The reception is here. We will accompany you from there to the holiday apartments. IF YOU HAVE A NAVIGATOR, PLEASE DON'T LOOK FOR 'SELVOLE' BECAUSE IT WOULD TAKE YOU TO ANOTHER 'selvole' 20 mins away! Put 'Vagliagli' or 'Pievasciata' and follow for the sign for the Sculpture park which is about a km after us you will have no problem.
