Our aim is to resent the Cretan tradition the ethics and customs of the region the architecture and the values of Cretan people.Arolithos is a hotel that represents a cretan village with its various aspects such as the workshops of cretan arts the shops,the hotel, the tavern, the restaurant, the Folklore museum, the church, the traditional oven, the cafeteria and the cafe.Crossing the narrow streets,our visitors will have the chance to see the genuine traditional weavings on looms and the handmade embroidering. At the restaurant we organize the popular Cretan nights, a show with folklore dances and music from all over Greece. At the weekends are organized several social events marriages, baptisms which are related to local people who celebrate for a special occasion. At our restaurant we also host receptions of special groups incentives. An indispensable part of Arolithos is the hotel section which consists of thirty-five rooms. All the rooms of the hotel have an A/C and a balcony with view over the mountains.The hotel is open all year round. the folkore museum is a cultural collection of great interest because of the variety of the exhibits and their close relations to the civilization of Crete.Arolithos is a small, charming, picturesque village near Heraklion.
