The Bondeheimen represents a type of property once far more widespread in the cities of Norway. Its original purpose was to be a kind of home-away-from-home for visitors to the city from more rural areas, and for this reason, good, wholesome quality of every aspect of the hotel at an attractive price were the hotel's original aims. They still are and this hotel comes highly recommended. CW09/08 The building forms part of a block and is quite traditional both in its exterior and interior. This hotel enjoys a central location, within walking distance of all of Oslo's major tourist attractions. There are transport links - bus/ tram and taxi directly outside of the hotel.
