The hotel has excellent leisure facilities including a state of the art gymnasium, rooftop pool with excellent Acropolis views and various massage treatments. Overall this is one of the best quality hotels to open in Athens over recent years. (1008/AC) This is a modern, imposing building occupying a prime corner spot on one of Athens' main streets. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of Omonia Square, the Archeological Museum, the main shopping streets and the central station. Syntagma, Kolonaki and Plaka and Monostiraki tourist areas are a short taxi or metro ride away from the hotel.

Directions

From Eleftherios Venizelos Airport (ATH): Distance to the Melia Athens is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive. Getting there. The suburban rail line connects the airport to Athens' central station, Larissis Station. Single tickets cost 8 EUR. Additionally, metro line 3 runs between the city centre and the airport. Six public bus routes cover Athens and Piraeus, as well as running to Athens Rafina Port. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals, Door 4, and cost about 25 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The hotel is in downtown Athens, 300 metres from the National Archaeological Museum and 50 metres from Omonia Metro station. Public transport throughout Athens is inexpensive and convenient. Services include buses, trams, trolley buses and a metro service. Tickets should be validated at the orange machines on board or in metro stations. Taxis are also available and are reasonably priced. Visitors are advised not to drive in the city. Valet parking and a parking garage are available. Driving directions. From Athens Airport: Follow Attiki Odos and exit along Kifissias Avenue. Follow signs to the city centre.
