Located 150 metres from the beach, this hostel has free hot showers, free bedding hire, a laundry facility and a large kitchen and lounge. Portsmouth and Southsea Backpackers Lodge Hostel has no curfew, and welcomes groups.

From the M27 take the M275 to Portsmouth and follow signs to the seafront. Drive along the seafront. Drive along the seafront until you see a blue glass building (The Pyramids) and here turn left. You will come to a mini roundabout. Turn right and Florence Road is then the 1st on the left. Public TransportFrom any bus or train station catch a bus, (5, 6, 23, 27, 40 & 43), to Southsea and get off at the Strand. Walk back the way the bus has come and Florence Road is 2nd Left. Ferries from Portsmouth go to France, Spain, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Wight.
