Kenmare is beautifully situated on the Kenmare River between the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula-Kenmare Bay Hotel and Leisure Resort - just a short walk from the bustle of Kenmare town and a 30-minute drive from Killarney Town-is set in peaceful and relaxing grounds which are home to our own home-bred peacocks. Brand new conferencing and banqueting facilities are available for up to 350 guests - the luxuriously appointed banqueting room offers excellent cuisine and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Kenmare town. Guests can enjoy contemporary Irish Cuisine at Jaspers Restaurant where the emphasis is on the best local produce includ Kerry lamb and beef - Kenmare Bay sole - prawns and salmon - attentive service - fine wines and a spectacular view of Kenmare Town and the Kerry mountains ensure a wonderful dining experience - For a lighter meal the Kenmare Snug bar offers an extensive range of hot and cold dishes and is a cosy spot to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink. The fully-decked beer garden leading off the bar is perfect for a drink or meal in the sun. The Bay Health Club offers extensive facilities to invigorate and indulge the body and mind. Facilities include a 20m pool-a pool for children - fully-equipped gym - sauna - steam room - Jacuzzi and rejuvenation suites with a wide range of beauty and holistic treatments - Visitors may also like to enjoy the challenge of the finest golf courses in Ireland - In July and August there is a daily Kids Club for children aged 5-12 years.
